A brilliant reinvigoration of Baldwin’s legacy and a remarkable statement about Baldwin’s assessment of the assessment of artists, Mike.

Let’s hope this inspires readers from all over to look beyond “Go Tell it on the Mountain” and “The Fire Next Time” and see the expanse of Baldwin’s achievement – and appreciate his genius.
