We were investigating improper use of funds by the student council. They stonewalled so we decided to drain the treasury by forming a plethora of student groups, each entitled to $250 for activity expenses. Within two months, the council had no funds left. Our actions also jump-started two years of political activism on campus, thanks to the groups we formed. Reminds me of my days as a j.c. newspaper editor.
