“eleventh commandment”? I’m not sure that i’ve seen commonsense displayed above the individual level in America in the last two decades. (the last concrete example i can muster is H.W. Bush refusing to march on Baghdad because it would leave us as an occupying power in the Middle East…and you know that he wanted to; moreover, you know that Cheney really wanted to)

It’s a shame, because applied commonsense is probably our best means for solving the issues at hand.
