Just saw the Reagan bio on PBS and Deaver was all over it. To me, he's like Atwater - a disease that, while the original germ may have died, has left enough replications to kill us all eventually. One of the main reasons we're in this mess politically, economically, and socially is their triumph of image over substance, demagoguery over truth.
