Photography: oil and vinegar

Posted on December 10, 2008 by under Arts & Literature, Scholars & Rogues [ Comments: 7 ]

Hello lovely readers of Scholars & Rogues, I am thrilled to be asked to stop by and share some of my work with you. I take photos of things that pique my curiosity. I hope you enjoy them. I encourage your comments on the subject matter or any of my thoughts. Ideas grow when exposed to light.

Bottles in the light

Oil and vinegar – two ancient, some consider sacred, artisanal products. Drops of each tell the story of peoples, nations and kingdoms. These simple products welcome lives, sanctify marriage, heal wounds and hold superstitions close.

They are useful alone, but brought together they balance one another in emulsion – making a whole more pleasing than the parts.

Who does this in your life?
