I'd have thought Jon would have tore him up.. now my favorite news show isn't even being all that informative anymore (well, one interview shouldn't shake my foundations, but I'm obviously going to question things more now). I also found it interesting (from the interview) that the idea of paying people to be nice was very well received by the military and "terrorists", but people won't take the time to understand that welfare in America isn't all that much different... paying people to keep them from being violent against you while you loot others around you.. I'm really uncomfortable with the amount of political (including public opinion forming) power that the DoD has granted itself, because it is obvious that they're convinced by the reverberations of their own echo chamber that they have the solutions.
