		<description>I don&#039;t know what drugs Eddie is on, but it must be quite a coktail.
Thanks Russ, initially for someone finally pointing out that Burmese monks&#039; robes are not dyed with saffron, it mightn&#039;t seem like much, but, well, it&#039;s a fact and fairly fundamental one.
Just last night I was sitting in Mae Sot having a beer with one of the VJ journalists who has just arrived.
He said he just couldn&#039;t hold on any longer, he was essentially being hunted by the authorities.
Now, while it was a great pleasure and humbling to have met him, I really wish he had been allowed to stay in his own country and work.
These are the simple rights that are denied Burmese citizens.
