What used to be a respected voice in news has devolved into right wing fantasy propaganda acolyte. Gone are the days of Bernard Shaw. There is definitely a problem with a network that hires a loon like Glen Beck, only to discover what was already self-evident, that the guy had gone over the edge. They seem to get the spotlight only when international crises come to a boiling point or reach watershed moments. While political reporters and pundits suck up all the time in between by either ignoring world affairs or commenting on them while they're clearly out of their depth, consequently almost invariably reducing their insights to domestic political ramifications. Is it any wonder why so many Americans are clueless to the machinations behind world affairs?
