Why would anyone pay attention to whatever Faux Noize, and their wannabe, Chicken Noodle Noize, anchors have to offer? What used to be a respected voice in news has devolved into right wing fantasy propaganda acolyte. Gone are the days of Bernard Shaw. There is definitely a problem with a network that hires a loon like Glen Beck, only to discover what was already self-evident, that the guy had gone over the edge.

Denny, nice catch. It's a wonder she still has a job there. Michael Ware as well. Of course we see so relatively little of both of them. They seem to get the spotlight only when international crises come to a boiling point or reach watershed moments. While political reporters and pundits suck up all the time in between by either ignoring world affairs or commenting on them while they're clearly out of their depth, consequently almost invariably reducing their insights to domestic political ramifications. Is it any wonder why so many Americans are clueless to the machinations behind world affairs?

Incidentally, a friend send me this list of CNN top stories from the other day:

"Suspected cat killer makes bail"
"Hottest bachelors of 2009 named"
"Fly bugs Obama, so he coolly smacks it"
"Family sees 'UFO,' goes home to pray"
"F-bomb sneaked onto yearbook cover"
"Kathy Griffin on 'moron' Palin, Jon & Kate"

I love when anchors say "According to some people". I just wish once someone would say "Name one of those people".

It would be even nicer if "news" agencies would make their anchors stop it in the first place.
