Rush’s politics have nothing to do with his exclusion, as evidenced by overwhelming support owners give to conservatives. If conservatives were excluded from the NFL there wouldn’t be any owners!

Now, Jeff, do I have the constitutional right to own your business if I have the money? Do I have the constitutional right to own your home if I have the money. Hell no and rightfully so. Just because Rush has the money does not mean he has the constitutional right to buy something. He is not being excluded based on race,religion,gender, or even his politics. The problem is that it says nothing about Limbaugh. As bad as Sharpton and Jesse can be (and have been) it’s impossible to take seriously anyone who’d argue that Limbaugh isn’t a race-baiter – in fact, I’m not sure but what he isn’t America’s most prominent race-baiter.

Another thing, why should someone’s politics disallow them from owning something. Limbaugh has every right to own the team if he has the money. Not letting him buy the team could set a bad precedent…..How would you feel if there were communities who wouldn’t allow you to exercise your freedom to buy real property due to your radical beliefs. In your smugness, you might not imagine such a thing happening, but with this socialistic gang in charge, all property rights are in danger(just ask the bond holders at GM). The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and we’re headed there…you just don’t get it but you will soon enough.
