
Growing up in North Carolina, one of the things I knew about Denver was the Barrel Man. The Broncos were frequently the late game on Sunday afternoon, and you could usually count on at least one shot of him every broadcast. His name was Tim McKernan, and it’s safe to say that he was as diehard a fan as any team could hope for.
The Barrel Man died in his sleep yesterday morning at the age of 69. Scholars & Rogues extends a heartfelt Mile High Salute to a community icon. Happy trails…
