Ok, was taken to this movie by a friend, and quite frankly I'm very glad he paid. CRAP! From beginning to end I was picking apart the characters actions, motivations, and technical skill sets. I wouldn't burden anyone with this vision of the future either now, or on my deathbed. CRAP! Just the kind of movie the critics will love. I liked all the acting in the film, but hated everything else. I'd give this film a rating of N, for NOT WITH YOUR EYES!.

"...(P.S.: I probably don’t need to say this, but if you’ve not read The Road, go. Now. Log off and pick up the novel and read it. It’s profound stuff and ferocious writing.)"

Really, seriously. A terrifically moving tale, brilliantly told.

Read the book. Forced myself through it. Beautifully written, of course, and near-suicidally depressing. Won't be seeing the film, but if it lives even halfway up to its source, it must be riveting.
