I don&#039;t think you can conclude that print journalism is in danger of not being taught in J-Schools by what you see on  the job postings.  If you look at the faculty of many, many J-Schools, you&#039;ll see that they have loads of traditional journalism professors in their ranks.    Since there is no retirement mandate in universities, it is more and more difficult to find an industry job (as you indicate), and individuals&#039; retirement accounts have gone belly up, faculty members who would have typically retired by now are staying on in their jobs.  There are jobs; just no job openings.</description>
